Stay as long as you need
The hardest hours of recovery are often the loneliest. When the world sleeps, the mind races. Ohana was built so nobody has to get through those hours alone.
Questions people ask at 1 AM
Is there really a recovery meeting at 1 AM?
Yes. Ohana's online meeting runs every night from 11 PM to 3 AM Pacific, which is 2 AM to 6 AM Eastern. The room is open the whole four hours, so you can come in at 11 or at 2:30. The Tonight page shows when the room opens next.
Do I need to sign up or make an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no account, and no intake. Tap Join and the Zoom room opens. You can stay anonymous.
What if I just want to listen?
That is fine. Plenty of people join their first night just to listen. Nobody has to share, and nobody has to explain why they are awake.
Is it free?
Yes, always. Ohana is peer-led and kept open by the people who show up. There is nothing to buy and no membership.
What if I'm in crisis right now?
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. In the United States you can call or text 988, or text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line, at any hour. Ohana is peer support, not emergency care, medical advice, therapy, or treatment.
The room is open tonight.
Whether you're on day one or decade ten, awake because of an urge or because of everything else, there's a seat. Come as you are.
